We are the Telford & East Shropshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting and ending from an old canal side pub, The Hartley Arms, this is a leisurely wander along the fields, tracks and quiet lanes of mid-Staffordshire. The walk ends with an optional 'social' after over a drink, snack or lunch at the pub. An excellent way for new and prospective members to meet some of our friendly group of walkers. Walkers can go direct to the walk start or car sharing is available from Forge Retail Park.
On of our Group's popular 'short and social walks'. Just bring a drink/ snack for a short mid walk break, no packed lunch required as walkers can eat at the pub post walk (optional). Dogs can come on the walk with the prior permission of the walk leader and are allowed in the pub. The pub car park and toilets will be available at the walk start. NB times for both walk start and car share meet are for departure times, when we set off, not arrival times.
