The walk follows a bridle path from Whitton to Pilleth, climbs up towards Black Hill and then takes the byway through the woods. We follow paths to Rhos-y-Meirch where we join Offa's Dyke for a while, and then take a bridle path back into Whitton. On a good day the views are wonderful.
There is a small amount of road walking. There are no stiles. There is quite a bit of walking up hills. I have listed the walk as strenuous, but it is at the moderate end of this category.
Car parking is fairly limited, so please car share if possible.
