Overview

This easy, flat walk has a lovely open feel to it with far-ranging views across the Vale for much of the way. Most of it is on field paths plus a little bit on quiet roads and tracks. We will be stopping for a snack break in Childswickham.

Easy walking with approximately 6 stiles but nothing particularly difficult. Bits of the paths can be a little rough in places. Need to cross the busy A44 twice plus there is a little walking on quiet village lanes. Likely to be livestock (sheep and, just possibly, horses or cattle) in a couple of fields. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads.

Starting at the lay-by on Longdon Hill, Wickhamford WR11 7RR (grid ref 065 414). Park in the lay-by or on the roadside adjacent. Coming from Evesham, Longdon Hill is the first turning off the main A44.
