Overview

A walk from Witton Gilbert to Wharton Park via Pity Me with a return along the "Way of Light". This is a walk across fields and countryside with some time in the city. Most of the walk is on good paths but there was some mud on the recce. A couple of stiles and gates and also two very busy roads to cross so walkers need to be vigilant. There are only a couple of hills to negotiate.

Lunch stop will be at Wharton Park where toilets are available.
