We are the Broxtowe Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk starts from the village of Woodborough and takes in Ploughman’s Wood before going on to Lowdham. It then takes in Hagg’s Farm before returning to Woodborough via Epperstone. There are no steep gradients and very few stiles. It is a mixture of footpaths alongside farmers’ fields, some narrow tracks and very little road walking until the return to Woodborough.
The walk starts at the Village Hall carpark in Woodborough which is free. There are, however, no toilet facilities but plenty of bushes. At the end there are two pubs in the village which walkers may like to patronise.
