We are the West Midlands Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join us for a moderate circular walk starting from Yew Tree Farm on Pettiford Lane. We will walk alongside the Stratford Upon Avon canal and beside two aquaducts. There will be a coffée stop (bring your own) at the end of the towpath. The walk goes through a lovely quiet countryside with good views and along some hidden bridleways. The lunch stop will be at the church in Bearly. We will then follow the Monarch’s Way and climb a short hill which goes down through Austy Wood and back to the canal, returning to Yew Tree Farm cafe for refreshments and toilet facilities.
This is a joint walk with the Ramblers Mid-Warwickshire Group.
The start point of the walk is Yew Tree Farm, Pettiford Lane, Wootton Wawen B95 6BY. Please park in the large car park at the rear of the shopping village ready to start the walk at 10.00
