We are the Ponteland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Wylam, Prudhoe, Mickley Square, returning along the river.
Terrain: fields, some road/pavement walking, woodland tracks/paths, riverside paths, several stiles all in good order, some steps, Quite muddy in places on the recce: hopefully this will have dried out.
Refreshments: lunch stop en-route.

Wylam Car park, Tyne Riverside Country Park on the north side of the river, just before the bridge (Grid Ref. NZ118645; Postcode NE41 8LA) Directions to start point: A69 west, exit Wylam slip road, continue to the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Main Road: before you reach the bridge, turn left onto car park road.
