Overview

Starting from Hallgate we pass Astley Hall to enter the woodland through to Ackhurst Lodge then round the Gillibrand Reservoir before following to paths and road to Southlands School. We then descend to the Yarrow Valley following the paths through Common Bank continuing on the looping riverside path, eventually climbing to Euxton House. Finally we return through the estates and woodland of Astley Village.
