We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts from the car parking area opposite Millington church.
The route head east out of Millington up the Minster Way, traversing northwards before dropping back down to cross Millington Dale. From here we have a steady climb up the old Roman road, now a field track, to Millington Heights. A stretch of wide verged road, a continuation of the Roman road, will take us to the track down into Deep Dale and a climb back out onto Bishop Wilton Wold and down into Bishop Wilton. We then climb out Bishop Wilton on the Mister Way and follow it through Great Givendale all the way back to Millington. Around 10 miles.
