Overview

A walk on Strensall Common of 7.5 miles with 50' ascent. It will be muddy in places so poles are advised although the steepest hill is the bridge over the river.

Strensall Common, layby on Lords Moor Lane on the opposite side of the road to Common Lane railway level crossing. Please note, this is NOT the CP by the cattle grid/golf club (which can be closed), but on the RH side of the road at the sharp bend, 500 yds towards Flaxton.
