Overview

A Yorkshire classic, Pen-y-ghent, starts from Horton-in-Ribblesdale, climbs gently up Brackenbottom Scar, and then follows the Pennine Way on the climb to the 694m high summit before following the walled Horton Scar Lane back into Horton.
