Overview

A leisurely linear zigzag walk from West Smithfield to Belgrave Square using London’s squares as its stepping stones, in the order: West Smithfield, Charterhouse, Gray’s Inn, Queen, Russell, Bedford, Cavendish, Hanover, Grosvenor, Berkeley, and Belgrave. We will pause at Russell Square for a picnic lunch, and make a brief detour from Cavendish Square to admire John Nash’s All Souls and the Art Deco facade of Broadcasting House.
