Walking in Sleaford

Welcome to the Sleaford Ramblers Group. We usually walk within our county, Lincolnshire, and our walks are normally circular.

Sunday walks are generally on alternate weekends, 7 to 10 miles, starting at 10am.  We take a morning break and a half hour lunch stop, so please remember to bring your food and drink.

During the spring and summer months we run an extensive programme of Thursday evening walks, starting at 7pm and are generally 3 to 5 miles.

Our group helps local people to enjoy walking and protect the places where we all love to walk. Our group organises regular walks led by local experts –  a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness.

You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.

Campaign with us - protect the places we walk

Walking is a simple pleasure that should be open to everyone, so we campaign to remove barriers to walking and we protect the places we love to wander.
