Overview

Why not join us for a walk in Richmond's lovely park, or maybe along the Trans Pennine Trail to Bowden Howstead wood and back via Castlebeck recreation ground. Both walks enjoy amazing long-distance vistas. We either walk as one group at the pace of the slowest or we offer two walks to better meet the needs of those attending. All walks end back at St Catherine's church by 3pm for refreshments. Most of the paths we use are wheels friendly. In very inclement weather we have been known to do just a very short walk and to enjoy a much longer period of time chatting in the church foyer with a cup of tea and a biscuit or two.

Buses stop outside the medical practice on Richmond Road and on both sides of Hastilar Road South near the fishpond. All bus stops are very close to the front entrance to the church.
