Join our friendly Stepping Out group for a wellbeing walk which takes you through the Open Air Theatre, along the side of the Miniature Railway Track and back along the sea front passing by the brightly coloured beach chalets finishing by the Sands Development. Lots to look out for including the trains, supports for the cable cars that were a feature for many years in the past and the striking white pyramids that form the Sea Life Centre, along with views of Scarborough Castle.
This is a predominately level terrain but slightly longer walk which is taken at a nice easy pace. The weather can be quite wild in Scarborough especially on the sea front so appropriate clothing and footware is advised.
At the end of the walk hot drinks and snacks are available to purchase, toilets both public and in cafes are available.
There is plenty of car parking available on Marine Drive and there is a car park close by.
Meet at the Open Air Kiosk, Burniston Road, Scarborough opposite Peasholm Park.
