Overview

Our walk starts from the car park at Cumbernauld train station. Don’t be put off by the urban start as, once we leave the road, it is a beautiful walk mainly through forest. It incudes most of a waymarked route ‘The Badger Loop’. The plan is to lunch at a loch and return across a golf course and through more forest.

After an upward path into the woods, the route is very easy walking on good tracks.  Your leader had no problem doing it in walking shoes. Local Grade C.

If you want to join this ramble, please let Katie know by 5 pm on Saturday 27 July - preferably by text 07985 455814 or email katiebaker50@sky.com.
