Overview

The walk starts at the main carpark by the pier in the picturesque village of Limekilns at 10.00am, visiting the impressive limekilns and port facilities before heading out of the village to Broomhall House via Charlestown. The walk then goes through Bellknowes past the war cemetery at Pattiesmuir and then on to spectacular views over Rosyth and the Forth Estuary. We will the return to Limekilns via the ancient Rosyth Church and Brucehaven.

The surfaces are mostly easy path walking with a section of roadside walking
