We are the Forth Valley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from Waverley Train Station we will stroll to Arthurs Seat and walk anti clockwise around it . The only toilets available are in Waverley before we set off . Some pavement bashing and as much walking on paths as possible . The walk will be at a nice even stroll , no running , rushing , hopping or skipping will be allowed on this occasion ! There is a slight hill to walk up but nothing to steep or strenuous for anyone . Hopefully the weather will be kind and the views will be excellent . Coffee break will be taken a bit earlier than normal .
Anyone who wishes to start the walk with the group to the coffee break ( which is all on the flat) are more than welcome . They then have the City to explore at their leisure or halfway round the walk there is an option to return to the capital . Some people will prefer walking poles but it is not obligatory .
