Ascent: 300 metres

Transport to Walk Start: 192 bus at 09:28 from Paton Street (stop EZ) in central Manchester. Please ensure you board a 192 with the final destination Hazel Grove P&R and not one terminating at Stockport or Stepping Hill.

Meet Point:  At the bus stop on Paton Street. Alternatively, meet the group on the bus or at Hazel Grove Park & Ride.

Suggested Ticket: £2 single for each bus journey

Walk Start: Hazel Grove Park & Ride (192 bus terminus) at 10:30

Return Services: x192 bus to Manchester (via Stockport) every 10 minutes.

Extra: Walk is bus-based as there are no Northern trains on this day due to strike action. Toilets at walk start and en route in Lyme Park after 5.5 miles.
