Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Victoria Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Burnley Manchester Road railway station.

Extra: Please use the toilet on the train as there is a single cubicle at Burnley station which is not suitable for a large group. Toilets en route at Townley Park 1 mile from the end. Optional drinks at the end of the walk in Burnley town centre. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs)

This circular walk from Burnley Manchester Roads offers fantastic views of the West Pennine Moors and a chance to visit the Singing Ringing Tree, a wind powered sound sculpture resembling a tree set in the landscape of the hills above Burnley.

The majority of the climbing in this walk is done in the first half. Some long ascents and very undulating. Some paths may be muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear.

The walk finishes in Burnley town centre where there will be a choice of pubs to go to. However, the railway station is a short 10 min walk which the walk leader can guide people back to
