This is a 5-hour circular walk, viewing 3 wells, which were once vitally important in supplying communities with water.
Starting from Southgate car park, we will walk to Bendrick Drive in Southgate to view the site of the former well.
Walking across Bishopston Valley then past South Gower Rugby Club, we can see the site of the well in Pwlldu Lane which has now been capped off.
We will then walk to Caswell Valley where St Peter's Well still exists and fresh water appears.
We will return along the coastal path to Southgate.
