A walk that starts by the Former Baptismal Pool that was once owned by Jesus College, Oxford.
The walk will be mainly across undulating farmland in this little visited part of the Vale of Glamorgan.
We'll head to the hidden River Alun which we cross by the ancient packhorse bridge over to the beautiful Coed y Bwl Nature Reserve with its wild Daffodils.
(The reserve may be closed due to Ash dieback disease but we can see the Daffodils from the lane).
We'll then head down to St. Brides for lunch by the duck pond
We return by crossing the River Alun again, using the stepping stones (easy to use) before a visit at the end to the Norman Priory at Ewenny which should be open for us to visit.
Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to a local venue.
