Overview

Fairholmes -  Abbey Tip Plantation - Abbey Brook - Cartledge Stones Ridge - Back Tor - Derwent Edge - Wheel Stones - Whinstone Lee Tor - Grindle Clough - Fairholmes

Start and finish on the reservoir access track/road then on decent paths for most of the route with some flagged sections on the higher stretchers of the ridge/moor. There are a number of uphill sections following the course of Abbey Brook and care is needed near the top as we climb up from Sheepfold Clough.
