We will walk through Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park where we will visit Isabella Plantation.
As noted in my Chairs report last year, I have decided to start to do afternoon rambles. Many of us have busy lifes and cannot afford to spend all day out rambling. So why not spend Sunday morning doing whatever you need to do, have lunch and join this afternoon ramble.
Hopefully the azaleas and rhododendrons will be in full bloom when we visit
We will follow the Capital Ring from Wimbledon Park up to Wimbledon Common. We may even see a "womble" in the common. We cross into Richmond Park where we will leave the Capital Ring and divert to Isabella Plantation.
We will stop here for and let you explore Isabella Plantation at your leisure.
After that we will head to Pembroke House and King Henry Mound before descending to Richmond passed Petersham Meadows and the Thames Path.
We will then adjourn to a pub or you can catch the tube/ train home.
