A walk through Ashdown Forest from Forest Row to the village of Poundgate. The route starts along a former railway line until we reach the village of Hartfield. From here we visit some of the landmarks made familiar by AA Milne in Winnie the Pooh stories, including Pooh Sticks Bridge, the Heffalump Trap, the Five Hundred Acre Wood, Eeyore's Gloomy Place and the AA Milne/EH Shepard memorial.
This is an undulating walk. Dress suitably for the time of year.
No exit points.

London Victoria 9:20am train to East Grinstead Railway Station arriving 10:20. Then take 10:30 bus 261 East Grinstead Railway Station towards Uckfield, ariving Wall Hill Rad Stop, Forest Row 10:45am

Buses approx every 30 minutes, The Crow and Gate Poundgate bus 29 to Eridge Station (15 minute journey). Eridge trains to London Bridge hourly.
