Overview

Join us for an 11 mile walk from Sutton Hall following the Group's annual AGM.

We start along a section of the Macclesfield canal before climbing to cross Macclesfield golf course which is over 200m and has lovely views. We then walk through the village of Langley, past Bottoms Reservoir and pick up a section of the Gritstone Trail up to Croker Hill. We then descend, go past Sutton Reservoir and back to Sutton Hall on another section of the Macclesfield Canal.

The AGM will be held at 9.30am at Sutton Hall. The walk will follow the AGM at approximately 10.30am.

A free breakfast consisting of a breakfast barm and hot drink will be provided at Sutton Hall for those attending the AGM.

You must book a place for either the AGM breakfast or the walk (or both) with the walk leader. If you would like to attend the AGM and order a free breakfast at Sutton Hall, please book this with the walk leader by Friday 8th November 2024.
