Overview

We will climb steeply from Llanferres to join Offa's Dyke Path, which leads us to Moel Gyw, the high point of the walk at 467m. We then continue to Moel y Plas and the village of Llanarmon yn Ial. The return leg takes us via Bryn Alyn (403m) and Big Covert woods, then passing a tudorbethan hacienda before returning to Llanferres. While there are no particularly high summits on this walk, you will need a good level of fitness for the combination of 800m of total ascent and the distance of 22km/13.5 miles.
