Overview

From Pannal we make our way along the Harrogate Ringway to the hamlet of Beckwith. From here we continue on across the fields to reach Shaw Green and then onto Beckside Farm. We then have a long road walk until we turn off at the Gas Pipeline station and take the footpath over to Almscliffe Crag (optional climb to the top ). After a short break we continue over the fields back to Pannal passing through North Rigton and the Warren on the way. A lunch break will be made at a suitable spot along route.
