Coach leaves Chorlton Street at 8.50 am, picking up along the A6 at Heaton Chapel, Stockport Town Hall, Hazel Grove
Three walks (no walk A)
Walk B. Leader Mary. Linear from Pomeroy (on A515). Earl Sterndale, Crowdicote, Pilsbury Castle, Hartington, Wolfescote Dale, Alstonefield. Strenuous, 12½ miles, 1262ft ascent, highest point 1373ft.
Walk C. Leader Brian. Alstonefield circular. Milldale, Stanshope, Wetton, Manifold River, Wetton Mill, Gateham Farm, Alstonefield. Moderate, 8½ miles, 1200 ascent
Walk D. Leader Geoff. Alstonefield circular. Milldale, River Dove, Wolfscote Dale, How Narrowdale, Alstonefield. Easy, 7 miles.
Coach will leave Alstonefield at 6 p.m.
The ground may be muddy so please wear suitable footwear. Please bring a change of shoes, boot covers or something to clean your boots before getting back on the coach.
