Guided Ramblers walk in the beautiful countryside around the historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale located in Cumbria between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The cost of £15.00 includes return travel from Central Manchester and a choice of 3 led walks of different lengths. You must book and pay for your ticket in advance but you can decide how far you want to walk when you get on the coach.
The coach leaves Chorlton Street at 8.50 am prompt, picking up in Sedgeley Park at 09.10 and Prestwich at 09.15. Toilet stop at Lancaster Services (NB: Timings for pick-up points are approximate - please be at the pick-up point at least 5 mins early)

Long Walk/Strenuous (11½ miles) leader John D
Circular walk: Devil’s Bridge, High Casterton, Bindloss Farm, Brownthwaite Bullpot Farm, Barbon Beck, Tuplot Wood, Fellfoot Road (rough track), Fell Yeat back to Devil's Bridge. After a steepish climb to Brownthwaite cairn the route descends anticlockwise round the bottom of Barbon Fell providing lovely scenic views on a fine day. 1593ft of ascent.
Medium Walk/Moderate (9 miles) leader Brian
2 circulars/Figure of 8: Devil’s Bridge, Bindloss Farm, Fellfoot Rd, Bellgate, Casterton, Laithe Lane, Devil’s Bridge, Highlights of Kirkby Lonsdale village ending at Devil’s Bridge. 800ft ascent.
Short Walk/Easy (6 miles) leader Geoff
Circular: Laithe Lane, Casterton Park & Hall, Casterton, Bellgate, Fellfoot Road, Binloss Farm & Cragg House Farm.
The coach will leave Kirkby Lonsdale at 5.30 p.m.
The ground may be muddy so please wear suitable footwear. Please bring a change of shoes, boot covers or something to clean your boots before getting back on the coach.
