Overview

Meet at 11.00 at the free car park at The Green, Wraysbury for a short sociable walk around the Colne Brook and the Ankerwycke Estate. Hopefully we will see a fine display of snowdrops and visit the ruins of Ankerwycke Priory and The Ankerwycke Yew, at 2,500 years old, the National Trust’s Oldest Tree – as always, there will be mud! Bring your own refreshments for a coffee stop. Possible pub at the end of the walk.

Please phone or text the leaders to register for this walk by latest 7pm the evening before: Margaret Daborn; tel:07530 811104, Alan Lander; tel:07736 066638
