We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet at 10:00 at the Artington Park and Ride car park, Old Portsmouth Road, Artington, just south of Guildford, ready for walk off at 10:15. An interesting and varied circular walk. Enjoy panoramic vistas with distant views of historic and beautiful Loseley House. We visit Watts Cemetery and Memorial Chapel, an Arts and Crafts masterpiece, with a coffee break at the Watts Gallery tea room. There is one climb, rewarding us with beautiful views, and then onward to Guildford for a pub lunch – returning to the Park and Ride via the Wey South Path, along the Wey navigation
