We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk that loops clockwise through the southern half of Ashdown Forest, past Nutley Windmill. After a picnic lunch at Ashdown Forest Visitor's Centre, we loop around the northern ridge visiting the AA Milne, Winnie the Pooh Memorial / Vista before returning to the car park. Some long steep climbs.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. The walk will start from the Four Counties car park on the west side of the B2026 (High Road), half a mile north of the junction with the B2188.
