We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An easy linear walk, part of the England Coast Path. Starting on Shoreham Beach and going past Lancing Widewater Lagoon Nature Reserve, and on to Worthing, Goring, and ending at Littlehampton Railway Station. Plenty of opportunities for ice cream en route. Bring a picnic lunch.
Getting there: Catch the 700 bus and get off at the Longshore pub, and then short walk. If coming by train, Shoreham station is 1 mile away. Parking is free on local roads. The return from Littlehampton is either by rail replacement service, or the Stagecoach bus 700/701.
Please note the start time is 10am this week.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. The walk will begin outside the Church of Good Shepherd, Kings Walk, Shoreham. BN43 5LF
The walk will finish by Littlehampton Railway station. Plenty of rail replacement buses back or the 700 Coastliner Stagecoach bus.
