Overview

We are walking from the heart of Ashwell to Arbury Banks to view the remains of an Iron Age Hill Fort.  The return leg uses a permissive path to take us to Newnham Hill and the return route to the village.

This route gives us a chance to see some of the highlights of Ashwell and to take in the views from the hills.  If the weather is dry we might even use the stepping stones over Ashwell Springs.
