Circular walk from Askrigg encompassing Newbiggin then follow Low Straits Lane before returning via Whitfield and Mill Gill waterfalls
Please note -No mobile Signal in Village and surroundings - so make any calls before you get there - Shorter distance wise approx 6ml - on recce last week/yesterday - distinct lack of water down the falls - Parking vicinity of the Church - Alternative small car park on entering the village from Redmire direction - Honest box at both locations. - Sorry not dog suitable - Also let leader know if intending to travel directly to the start
Meet opposite 6th Form College - aiming to depart at 09:30 prompt - if car sharing is required pls let leader know before hand OR if intending to travel direct
Parking available outside the church - Honesty box ( opposite Skeldale House) Alternative small park at top of the village as you enter from Leyburn Rd - if struggling with parking - park up and meet at village cross by the church - readily spotted - White Tower !!
