Overview

This is a beautiful walk starting from Reeth and following the Swale past Healaugh to Scaba Wath bridge. We then begin a long but gentle ascent to Harkerside Moor via Maiden Castle - the remains of an Iron Age fort. We traverse the moor enjoying stunning panoramic views before descending to Grinton and back to Reeth.
