Overview

Beginning at Great Ayton village green through woods and farmland then a climb up to Captain Cook's Monument.Then following the Cleveland Way to the summit of Roseberry Topping.Returning to Great Ayton through oak woodland and retracing a section from the start of the walk.

Shops,cafes,pubs and toilets available in Great Ayton. Chargable and free off street car parking.

Although graded as moderate there are some steep climbs on the walk.Many of the footpaths are uneven and can be muddy.Steps and stiles to be negotiated.
