Overview

A walk over Barlaston Downs, where there are fine views, before continuing along the canal towpath then over fields back to the village. There are two stiles. There will be a refreshment stop.

Park at the public car park at the bottom of the drive to the Upper House Hotel, Barlaston. If approaching Barlaston from the A34, continue past The Plume of Feathers, over the railway crossing and then take the right turn to the Upper House.
