Overview

Meet up at Clarkston car park for 8.30am to start walk for 9am at Barrhead. Leaving from the cafe hub in the Cowan Park, Darnley Road end of the park and can use the public toilet in the cafe. They have also agreed to provide tea and cake afterwards, once we give them our numbers.
The walk took approx 4 hours and was 13 km. Water most of the way on this walk and lots of wildlife, toads, deer, horses, green tits, chaffinches, swans, ducks, buzzards etc. can be seen.

May be muddy in parts with a couple of inclines, C+ Sticks would be handy. A mixture of small tracks, soft ground and small part on pavement.

Cafe Hub, Cowan Park, Darnley. Note: Saturday mornings are very busy at the park with football, so if there are lots of parked cars I would recommend going right at the Dovecoat roundabout, onto the Glasgow Road, and turning first left on the Carlibar Road and then first left again to park near the Millview Nursing Home and the entrance to the Levern Walkway.
