This is a linear walk.
Starting at Port Glasgow train station the first part of the walk is uphill until we join the cycle path which leads us to Kilmacolm. Lunch break/ toilet facilities in Kilmacolm.
After lunch we follow an old right of way to Langbank. The first part is up hill on Barrs Brae which leads to open green fields and woodland. It then opens up to beautiful views of the Firth of Clyde.
Some steep inclines and possible muddy parts. Walking poles recommended.
There are a few stiles to climb too.
