We are the Vale of Glamorgan Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from the Cwm Ciddy Car park we follow Cwm Ciddy lane to Porthkerry Park where we will head to the pebble beach for coffee. We then climb the golden steps and along the coast path to Cold Knap where we can view the remains of a Roman villa.
We proceed to Barry Island across Watch Tower Bay (tide depending) alternatively via the causeway to enjoy our lunch on Friars Point.
The Ice Cream lovers among us will then have the opportunity to buy a gelato from the infamous Zio's before we return along the causeway to the Knap and Romilly Park to Porthkerry Park.
Post walk refreshments can be enjoyed at the Cwm Ciddy.
Poles are advisable as there are some muddy descents.
