Overview

The Leader continues the theme of moderate walks on parts of the Sandstone Trail. Starting at Beeston Castle, the route heads south on the Sandstone Trail passing the Pheasant Inn and reaches Bulkeley Hill. After a circuit of Bulkeley, the route uses the Waste Hill track to drop onto the Peckforton fields. The return route will be familiar to those following these walks as it uses Moss Lane into Beeston hamlet and the CP. . 1050 ft asc. Tel 07760 195014. Full Day. Bring lunch.
