Overview

We climb steadily up Rowlee Pasture to reach Alport Castles then descend to Alport Farm. From here we follow the river down and cross the Snake Pass to join a path to the Woodlands Valley. Crossing the Snake Pass again we climb steeply back to Open Hagg and onto Crook Hill before returning to the start. Paths are good. 2000 ft asc. Tel 07912624940. Full Day. Bring lunch.
