this is an A grade walk of around 9 miles, starting from upper mill street in Tillicoultry, starting off going up a section of stairs then onto a zig zag path, then a section of narrow rocky path where care should be taken as there is a deep gully to the left, the path is undulating in places , the walk then starts to ascend the Law this is the most strenuous part of the walk. The walk then levels out going towards Ben Clench, then an easier incline towards the summit trig point and cairn , then a down hill section cross a fence with a gradual incline upwards to the cairn on Ben Ever , then a mainly level walk for a spell then down hill till a path again by the side of the same gully we passed near start of the walk, once again care should be taken, the path eventually leading back to the start of the walk, gaiters not really required , walking poles recommended,
