Overview

A moderate, circular 8.5 mile walk around the Berkswell area, starting and finishing at the Bear Inn. the route will follow part of the Coventry Way and Millennium Way, taking in Church Farm, Millison's  Wood, Flint's Green, Benton Green and Carol Green before returning to Berkswell.

There is a combination of tracks, fields and minor roads, with a couple of gentle inclines and four solid stiles towards the end of the route where there are refreshments at the pub.

Meet at Wyndley Swimming Pool car park 08:45 for car sharing. Directions to the Bear Inn, Berkswell CV7 7BB (17 miles approx.): Take A452 Chester Road south, passing through Castle Vale, across Junction 5 of M6 towards the airport. Continue on the new road network following the A 452. At Stonebridge roundabout, continue on A452. At next roundabout, take the second exit onto Cornets End Lane. Continue to the junction, turn right onto Meriden Road which goes into Berkswell. The Bear Inn is on the left at the junction. Parking is at the back of the pub.
