Overview

A walk for Easter Sunday: 7.5 miles of easy walking, starting from the Dog & Doublet pub, Bodymoor Heath. We walk along the canal towpath to Middleton Lakes, where we visit several lakes and then return along the canal via Cliff Lakes for refreshments at the pub. 

There is one small hill and no stiles.

Meet at 08:45 at Wyndley Swimming Pool car park for car sharing. Directions to the Dog & Doublet pub, Dog Lane B76 9JD: at Bassetts Pole roundabout, follow the A446 as far as the Belfry. Turn left on A4091 Tamworth, then turn right SP Bodymoor Heath. Pass Villa training ground, go over the canal, then immediately right on Dog Lane. Pub is a few hundred yards on right.
