We are the South West Sussex Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We leave the car park and turn north into Eartham Wood, then through North Wood to join Stane Street, the Roman road running from Chichester to the site of London Bridge. We'll walk on the road across the downs, steadily ascending to meet the SDW. We stay on the SDW passing Bignor Hill till West Burton Hill, where we cut across to The Denture and Great Down. We should have great views if the weather cooperates!
After lunch we descend towards Slindon, then turn east up to Nore Hill, then it's a short hop through the woods back to the car park.
This is a hilly walk.
