Overview

We leave from the triangle car park below the Trundle and descend to Singleton. We cross to Charlton then ascend to the SDW through Singleton Forest. At the SDW we turn west, staying on the path until Cocking Down, where we leave the SDW and turn south through the woods and make our way to West Dean. A final ascent on the Monarch's Way takes us back to the Trundle.  With good weather we should have great views.

Hilly.

Please book with the leader.

The public transport is the no60 bus Chi/Midhurst, leaving the bus at Singleton and joining the group at Manor Farm.  Please talk to the leader beforehand.
