We are the Eastleigh Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a lovely walk with views over Winchester and the Hampshire countryside. Coffee stop at the War Memorial on Hazely Down, picnic lunch at Owslebury (drink in the pub if required!). The walk follows the Pilgrim's Trail, the Monarch's Way and the King's Way. Map Ex 119/OL3.
Meet by the Bishop's Waltham Palace Ruins at 09.25 to catch the 09.43 bus to Winchester (£2 fare). We will walk back from Winchester to Bishop's Waltham following the route above.
THERE IS NO MAXIMUM LIMIT FOR THE NUMBER OF WALKERS ON THIS WALK BUT YOU MUST BOOK A PLACE.

Meet on the road outside Bishop's Waltham Palace to catch the bus to Winchester. There is free parking available on Station Road next to the Palace.
